A friend of mine just told me the following story: It's a 54 desoto firedome that in the movie was made into a convertible for albert einstein ... it is truly a 1-off car, fully documented... i drove the car to lead east in '96... top works, has and elaborate system for the rear qtr windows that rotate down into the doors... it still has the camera trailer hitches, and at one point back in 96ish-time i removed the pyrotechnic packs from the rear bumper for one of the end scenes of the movie....
