Not a US spec headlight. Probably too large to fit in the US spec headlight trim. |

Headlights were changed here, sealed beam was not allowed, but on civilian cars the headlight trim was still there. On police cars larger headlights were applied. Even on SAAB and Volvo the police requiered different headlights in the aerly seventies, usually Cibié or Marchal. These Valiants were modified for the police by SAAB-ANA in Nyköping, the swedish dealer at the time. They were equipped with front seats from SAAB 99 among other things. |
