Sa plaque est étrange, comment se fait-il que cette auto ait une plaque noire comme si c'était une ancienne |

I guess it´s a fake for the film, numberplates are often bad copies of the original. Especially if the film is supposed to be in another country than the location of the production. |

Here is it for a low-cost series, so it is made in France and supposed to be in France. But maybe it was a false plate put on a non-registered car... |

If I understood the first comment right, the Prowler isn´t allowed to sell in France? That could be a reason I guess, if they wanted it to be french. But why not use a more accurate numberplate? Well, low budget is low budget |

W-plates is for temporary numbers, until the vehicle is registered officially. So for such cars it may be because it could never get a real registration? But even in this case the plate would have been white rather than black... |

I know the Prowler came out in North America for '97, was it the same time in Europe? |

Wasn't it sold as the Chrysler Prowler outside of North America? As far as I know Plymouth and Dodge were not sold outside North America, Dodge only recently having been introduced. |

It was not sold in Europe. It is not even road-legal in France, or at least not easy to register. |
