XAS 971K plate seems fake, so 68+.

Detective Inspector Len Bradfield's car, and seen throughout the series, although mostly night-time and interior scenes.

Strange badge on rear pillar - not standard fit.

The badge appears on both 'C' pillars, and unusually for a police car, it has a towing point for a caravan or trailer!

XAS 971K is fake combination. I'm sticking with 68-69 for early hubcaps and no trim tag on boot badge.

I think the badge could possibly be borrowed from the Minx Series VI: the wing badge with the 1725cc engine size?

^ Could be, but it's a bit pointless as 67-70 Hunters were 1725cc only. The only Arrows I can think of with C-pillar badges are Sceptre (with H rosette) and early GT (with zoomy GT logo).

Agreed probably an owner in the past thought it a good idea, but rather pointless.
