No, definitely not a MB100. Perhaps something from Sava? - The design is not straight and "edgy" enough for a MB100. Far too many curves. - The back looks totally different, see here (everyone takes front photos, it took a little to find a picture of this one's back) - Most important: The MB100's production started in Vitoria, Spain, in 1988. It could have appeared in a 1987/88 movie. But 1981/82?! |

It's the predecessor of the MB 100, the Spanish made van, still with Mercedes-logo, but formerly based on the DKW F 1000. |

The IMOSA/DKW had smaller rear lights; this will be the 1976+ Mercedes-Benz N1000 or the 1980+ Mercedes-Benz MB 100 (only sold in Spain) which both were only sold in Spain. The 1988+ model was exported as well. |
