The chopper in the background is a 1949 Harley Panhead, rigid frame, kick-start; owned, customized & ridden by "Deacon" Dave Phillips, formerly of Tujunga, CA, and was on the road until Mother's Day, 2008, when he was struck from behind by an inattentive (tailgating) driver (Mr. Frederick Garcia of Bakersfield, CA. Mr. Garcia had a commercial license & hazmat certification at the time he struck the pan!) It should be back on the road in the near future, no thanks to Mr. Garcia. |
