Isn't this actually a Fiat 132? The tail lamps and back ("C") pillar are different than on a 131 - see pix here: http://auta5p.car.cz/katalog/fiat/fiat_131_02.htm

RHD 1977-1981(IIIrd series)132-2000 Automatic(3-speed transmission),CKD-assembled in South Africa by ARSA(Alfa Romeo South-Africa,a joint-venture of South African Alfa's production facilities together to those of Fiat South-Africa Pty.Ltd.,this late 1961-estabilished);it will replace the locally-assembled RHD 1970-1972 Fiat 125 Special(still built in South-Africa in 1973)and 1974-1977 RHD Fiat 132-1800 GLS Automatic(gifted of GM 3-speed unit)

PS BTW,South-African 132 were with "tropicalized"engine trim(with centrifugal air filter)and climatization device aboard

Apparently, the last series of 132 was named Elita in South Africa:

This color was not available in the series III for the Italian market. The name was "Champagne Yellow" code 238. Only 131s and 132s (and very briefly the 124 sport coupé series III) had it.
It was avalable since 1974 and 1979.
