Definitely a mid-50's Berlinetta PininFarina... Trying to catch the right one... |

Probably a 250 Testa Rossa from the late 1950s. |

Seen on the picture : the white helmet seems to stand on the roof of the car. The 250 Testa Rossa is a spider, not a berlinetta/coupé. BTW, the nose of the 250 Testa Rossa is different. |

The nose does not correspond to any 375. With that nose and that hood (including a specific air-intake), I think it's a 1953 Ferrari 250 MM Berlinetta PininFarina (possibly s/n 0352 MM, which took part to the Mille Miglia 1954 - see pic below). ![]() -- Last edit: 2007-11-14 20:28:34 |

I can't see a roof. I was thinking in a 212 Export, s/n 0086 E, scuderia Marzotto, body by Fontana |

An extra view of the car could maybe help. Regarding 0086E, based on this : Link to "www.wheelsofitaly.com", I don't think it's matching. |

Is this car a berlinetta or a spyder? I agree it is not a 250TR, the grille type is definitley earlier ca 1951-3. As no two cars of this era were identical it may not be possible to postively identify it. |

I think it is a Shelby Cobra |

Well... I don't think so (look at the Ferrari badge between top of grid and hood)... -- Last edit: 2007-11-29 15:06:49 |

It looks like a Ferrari badge, but maybe it isn't. |

Maybe a 375 Plus ? |

I keep on thinking it's a 1953 250 MM Berlinetta PininFarina... See below... (the one from the picture below has a bonnet without air-intake, and the turning lights are not on the same place) -- Last edit: 2007-12-19 19:15:43 |

Definitely not an AC Cobra. The original designer of (what would become) the AC Ace (later Cobra) based the bodywork on a Ferrari 212 Barchetta (IIRC), so there are similarities in shape. This car however is certainly a Ferrari.... |

And it's not a convertible, well a coupé... (The white helmet standing on the roof of the car)... |

I would guess it is a 250MM. At that time there almost no car was exactly the same. The modell is rather a chassis. |
