sixcyl ◊ 2006-01-08 13:18	1976?... the last DS came out from Citroen factory in 1975 (it was the the 1330775th DS an the last, a DS23 Pallas Injection). This one is a typicall DS (UK) with round rear lights...seems to be a Pallas with lateral beadings, but I don't know if Pallas name was used on british models?... Prominent doors handles leeds to confirm that the car belong to models produced between 1968 to 1971.

dirck96 ◊ 2008-04-01 09:17	There were still citroens made in 1976. In South Africa. I owned a ds23 pallas with airconditioning, blue with a white vinyl roof. When living in Holland still I used to drive dafs, mainly the 55 and 66. (station wagon because the shape was funky!) later I owned a Volvo 66, but they had changed the driving selector to represent a more "automatic" gearbox look and did away with the "forward - backward" shifting device. The Dafs 555 were used for the "Ralley Cross" in the southern part of Holland in the 70ties and were the fastest cars on Earth for a while, outdoing the Ford Escorts from England! dirck96 dirck96@lantic.net -- Last edit: 2008-04-01 09:18:42
