Land-Rover 109" Series III Station Wagon. The C-reg. plate is a fake. They needed an old and battered looking Landy for the film, so it had to look older than Series III. |

If I remember correctly, they had to fit the head gasket. They had to make one and used household linoleum as it was handy, and for some reason the finshed gasket looked more like it belonged on a sidevalve (flathead) Jeep engine than a Land Rover! |
