cibup rejected this car as being not visible enough, but to my eyes it looks a lot like a very rare Pegaso Z-102 or Z-103 Spider by Serra, possibly the red car called 'SS2' here: https://pegasos.webcindario.com/mserrae.htm Or more like this one: ![]() https://boomervoice.ca/visit-car-museum-salamanca/ I'm not a Pegaso expert by any means, and I would welcome a second opinion. Regardless, it certainly has the appearance of something exotic and worth listing. -- Last edit: 2020-03-25 22:02:49 |

^That actually looks to be it! I don't think there were any spyders at that time which had that distinctive side vent, given that it's a coachbuilt car anyway. Pedro Serra built a few of these, it's just a shame we can't see the rest of the car. https://pegasos.webcindario.com/mserrae.htm -- Last edit: 2020-03-26 00:10:32 |

I also found it exotic & interesting, and I expected it was a better view during the film, but nope. I rechecked trying to get a better frame, but I couldn't... I found on YouTube a video of the part of the film when it's visible. It has lower quality than my copy, but maybe brighter. I hope it could help with the identification. It's visible from 08:54 until 09:02 minutes. |
