◊ 2007-10-30 00:35 |
Well, I am not sure of myself, see the "(?)" at the end of my comment? I hope I am right ... I remember antp talking about the new ones having a "Whale mouth" ... -- Last edit: 2007-10-30 00:37:45 |

Very Little ... But yes I do find this Peugeot 307 quit nice , it is sad we do not have them here. I would be interested in buying one. I like the big "Whale mouth look" ... |

Neptune, i know this doesnt change anything but now you have admin rights (on a side it means you get closer to the site in lots of terms) you could start getting more interested, in at least, nowadays ars, you could probably even start likeking them a lot if you like this Peugeot you can like others |

Yes, of course ... |

I found this bit of information about Peugeot maybe coming back to America? Even if they did, the 307 would probably not be on the list to bring over. Link to "blogs.motortrend.com" -- Last edit: 2007-10-30 02:03:41 |

I think they may be sold in Mexico?? I've seen a car like this, and IIRC it was a Peugeot, with "Mexico DF"(Mexico City) registration on the road here (Texas)?? |

It'd be a good idea, in my opinion anyway. I'll make a new pole about this in the forums. |

To come back to that 307, indeed it is a 307, I hesitated between that and a 207, I was a little tired I guess. And indeed the facelift occured for 2005 model, to match the whale-style () of the 407. |
◊ 2007-10-30 11:06 |
That do you dont like right ? |
◊ 2007-10-30 11:37 |
On the 407 it is OK (from some angles I even like it), but on the smaller cars that mouth looks really too big |

What I don't understand is why the new 107, 207 and 308 have this big plastic bar over their grilles. I hate large amounts of black plastic on cars (fortunately my cars had body-coloured bumpers, which look much better). |
◊ 2007-10-30 14:51 |
I, 100% agree, I don’t a lot of plastic to be used on a vehicle either. It cheapens the look of the vehicle and the plastic is harder to take care of than the paint. That it why I love the Limited Edition Expedition, as the vehicle body, lower door panels, fender trim, front and rear bumpers and even the grille and the lower air dam grille are painted one primary color and then is clear coated. 2003-Onward model XLT Expeditions have black plastic body panels, which do not look good. |

Many cars still have plastic bumpers, but they look a lot better when they are painted to match the bodywork. Unpainted black plastic bumpers are cheap and nasty. |
◊ 2007-10-30 17:51 |
I like black plastic parts, it allows to not damage anything when you hit it (i.e. no need to repaint) |

@antp: surely an advance - for the daily action-show "parking in Brussels" I agree with you. Painted bumpers are making me nervous, with black one you are driving much relaxter. With my old 87-Passat I used this "mecanical park-sensor" daily, when I drove into my garage. When I'd felt the wall, I had known, that the car is inside |

Ingo, what you should have done was nail a piece of wood to the floor at a certain position so that when you felt the front tyres touch it (or back tyres if you are reversing), you'd know when to stop. I did that with my cars. |
