Datsun B-210, possibly a Honey Bee? |

(about the Beetle): big side windows, but small front screen, also small turn signals. I guess 1961-1963. Ah, and it has lost it's engine. |

It's classified as a Coupé above the picture. Surely it's a sedan? |

This type of body with the older type of indicators but with the chrome strip of the bonnet reaching the handle ( without the Wolfsburg badge ) identify a 1963 model. |

I don't think that Volkswagen Sedan should be classified as a sedan. Wikipedia says coupe. |

Don't believe everything you read in Wikipedia ... if it was right Antoine would be rather busy |

Strange discussion. I've never heard before about the idea, to call a Beetle "coupe" |
◊ 2007-10-28 22:07 |
None of these two cars are coupé. Both are 2-door sedan. The Datsun coupé is looking like that: /vehicle_59636-Datsun-B210-Coupe-KB210-1976.html You mean for changing Beetle from Sedan to Coupé? I do such change directly on the server when needed, so I only have to type one line of code, I am not so crazy |

To me, a sedan has to have a pronounced notchback. The Volkswagen does not seem to have one. |
◊ 2007-10-28 22:19 |
Like a DS or an Austin/Morris ADO16 or a Tatra 603? |
◊ 2007-10-28 23:13 |
so this is "Sedan" vs a number like 1200, 1300, etc like others listed on the site? |
◊ 2007-10-28 23:17 |
I guess it depends on teh markets where it was sold... Sedan was the usual name in the USA |
◊ 2007-10-29 00:26 |
Neither was a sedan - they were fastbacks. |
◊ 2007-10-29 00:27 |
From Wikipedia: "Fastbacks can be two-door coupés or two- or four-door sedans." |
◊ 2007-10-29 00:28 |
Wikipedia is rubbish on that - except for the article on liftbacks, which I wrote myself |
