Windshield base of a 1949-53 CJ-3A (or any local derivative), not of an MB? |

It is my understanding that some Gukje and Ha Dong-hwan were assembling Jeeps before Shinjin started in 1969 ![]() |

Many of these surplus ex-military Jeeps received weatherproof coachwork by several different manufacturers when they went on the civilian market in the 1950s. |

That is the hard part to find company who makes these aftermarket conversion for the Jeep in South Korean in the 1950s and 1960s ![]() |

Suspect several vehicles pictured, most modified for civilian use. The main pic of the grille shows the front cross member of a GPW, lic 6787. The insert of the 3 pressed panel windshield is of a CJ3A style but does not look like a factory center opening (suspect local custom mounted on a WWII jeep). The grille is WWII on all. The frame pics on the assembly line are WWII jeep models as evidenced by the remaining portion of the machine gun mount. The rear leaf spring clamps would indicate a Willys MB rather than a Ford. |
