That's a circa 1979 Lincoln Towne Coupe custom convertible. |

It could be anywhere between 77-79 based on this picture. I want to say 78 or 79 because I actually know someone with a 77 convertible from Andy Hotten and his does not have a faux spare lid, but that could have just been an option. Either way the model name is Lincoln Continental. |

Incorrect. The faux fiberglass lid humps were available as early as AHA/Andy Hotton was putting convertible tops on these. IIRC, the earliest I've seen is a '72 - and yes, it did have the hump. That said, this is a '77. Grille came out in '77, and that dash pad was replaced with later LTD-based dash for 1978/9. No other alternative - it's a 1977. I cannot tell if it's a 4-door or 2-door Continental. If a 4-door, it's almost definitely a Silcco. If 2-door, it could be an AHA or Silcco. No way to tell at this point. -Kurt -- Last edit: 2012-03-06 01:59:46 |

Ahem - '77, not '78. See above. -Kurt |
