This was not a regular VW Karmann-Ghia. They were made in fiberglass by the Porsche dealer Dacon with Porsche 1600 engines, 4 came Fuhrmann engine. Only four were produced and raced by the Dacon Team, driven by the Fittipaldi brothers, Pace and others among the best pilots in Brazil. They were known as Karmann-Ghia Dacon and produced around 1969. Very sucessfull in racies. |
