Junkman ◊ 2006-03-24 18:04	I don't think it is a Kurtis. I researched it weeks ago, since oval racing is actually a hobby of mine. It has strong Solar overtones, but doesn't match 100%. Bear in mind that these were mostly kit-built cars for one thing and often heavily modified by the racers during their lives. This one is intersting though, since it is fitted with what appears to be a Dodge Red Ram Hemi. If we would know on which track the movie was filmed, we could research old archives.

There is an old racing mechanic around this area that has a bunch of old race cars in his collection and this looks like one he is restoring, the Dodge Ram Hemi and the number 19 are what gets my attention. I'll see if Mutt has a web site with his cars on it.
