That's impossible, plate is fake obviously, a V8 Vantage can't be MY04, this is a 2007 V8 Vantage N24

But listed as an Aston Martin on DVLA...

The vehicle details for VX04 SKN are:

Date of Liability 01 05 2009
Date of First Registration 18 05 2004
Year of Manufacture 2004
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 4280CC
CO2 Emissions 0g/Km
Fuel Type Gas Bi-Fuel
Export Marker Not Applicable
Vehicle Status Licence Not Due
Vehicle Colour YELLOW
Vehicle Type Approval null

edit..'VX' is a Worcester registration.

Bi-fuel presumably means Petrol/LPG?
Pre-production vehicles are regularly registered for road use and the Vantage V8 base design was in development 2002-2004. Also its possible to register a vehicle as being older than indicated the year-identifier, however the date first registered, if correctly listed on DVLA, suggests it was originally manufactured in 2004. Its also common for development vehicles to carry an 'old' registration plate to partially disguise a new vehicle design, so possibly transferred from an older vehicle without the DVLA data being up-dated.

Without knowing the exact history of this car its not possible to confirm if this is its actual registration.

The boys drive around southern Europe in 3 special edition supercars looking for the world's most enjoyable road. May chooses this because he says like a proper racing car rather than just a tarted up version of a regular supercar like Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera and the Porsche 911 GT3 RS the other two have chosen. He comes to regret this decision because it's very uncomfortable, has no air conditioning and only a little hole instead of a winding down window.

Was it a test-car from Aston Martin, or did May actually buy it?
His name's on it, after all.
