71 will be the date of the Jaguar XJ6 donor vehicle. Ram SCs started in 1984 according to my book, Ram Automotive was the name of the manufacturers from 1994-98 (also according to my book). |

Ahh, that's why it looks so 'fresh' for a '71 car ![]() |

weird but it reminds me some Xmas tree decoration we had when i was a kid ( not shaped as a AC but same color/shiny look ) |

What I find weird, is that it IS blue, even during the actual filming set, as seen here: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3699104/mediaviewer/rm1201820928 Does this mean that they started CGI'ing colours on cars as well? Or was the car just sprayed in plasti dip? |

Seems it survived and returned to UK MOT expired on 17 April 2019 although unclear what's happening now. "Le véhicule a été fabriquée entre 1991 et 1994 par F Horner en Angleterre sur la base d’un Kit RAM Automotive. Il est fabriqué sur la base d’une Jaguar XJ6 2.8 L de 1971. Il est équipe du small block chevy 400 ci. D’une boite de vitesses 5 vitesses de marque Toyota." |

We have a few French productions with a dark blue/white Cobra replica, wonder if it is other appearances of the same car? /vehicle_591110-AC-Cobra-427-Replica.html /vehicle_666356-AC-Cobra-427-Replica.html /vehicle_758732-AC-Cobra-427-Replica.html /vehicle_917803-AC-Cobra-427-Replica.html |

It might have stayed in France with someone in the UK continuing to pay road tax, because the Casting Automobiles page says "Carte grise Anglaise ( véhicule non immatriculable en France)" (UK registration because cannot be registered in France). |
