johnfromstaffs wrote That looks to be an American body, drum headlamps and lhd.

So, if this is the Springfield-built RR, then this is most likely this one:

(google translated from japanese):
Quote Phantom I produced from 1925 to 1931 was a topical model. At that time, due to the high cost of finished vehicles in North America, Rolls-Royce completed a North American plant in Springfield, Massachusetts, separate from the Derby plant in the UK. This individual was brought to Japan after the war by a US naval officer and later transferred to the German restaurant “Ketel” in Ginza.

I was reluctant to say it was a Springfield for sure, not knowing enough about these cars.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that this is a Springfield.

There were definitely not many (and by 'many' I mean, a very few) of these LHD pre-war RR's in Japan, and there are also many exterior bits that seem to match these 2 cars, starting with those unique-looking bonnet vents on each side (which I can't seem to find on any other RR from this period ANYWHERE on the internet), which leads to think that this particular RR might have been specially customised by the owner, and even though I can't find any clear images of the interior of that restored white/silver RR in the thumbnail, it does seem to have the same red leather interior as the subject vehicle from this movie:
