Neptune 2007-09-23 21:50	Should have "Replica" on the end of it's name. Since it really is just a replica of the Chevrolet Camaro Concept car. It was built by GM and Saleen on a chopped up current model Pontiac GTO chassis. The body is Fiberglass, made from exact molds of the Chevrolet Camaro Concept show car. The "5-Spoke Alloy Wheels" are actually fake, and are just wheel covers covering plain steel wheels. Their design was taken from wheel molds of the Chevrolet Camaro Concept show car, just like the body itself. -- Last edit: 2008-03-24 01:10:02

Wampa-One 2007-09-24 14:15	Model Year should not be listed as 2008. Supposedly it will be out in 2009, but since that is in the future and may change it would probably be best to omit the year.

antp 2007-09-24 21:50	Wampa-One wrote Model Year should not be listed as 2008. It is a replica of what was called the "2009 Camaro", so I would say that it should either be labeled as 2009, or as 2007 as it is the building-year.
plymubishi 2007-09-30 00:16	there was a full write up on this in Hot Rod, as Neptune said it is built off of a gto and is just a fibeglass shell(supplied by GM built by Shelby). It is actually labeled as a 2009. Also as Neptune noted most of the stuff is fake-wheels and exposed brake rotors are hub caps/all the billit inside is fiberglass painted/etc...I will have to dig it out to find the correct issue it was in. It even had a small segment on the first aperance of Bumblebee in the movie and the "police issue mustang(not 100% mustang,actually built by Shelby as well if I remember correctly)

Belle01 2008-09-16 22:58	OMG, Coolest car ever made! Camaro is better than any other car every manufactured. I am so glad that the people who did the movie chose the Camaro as the good guy, and made a stupid Mustang one of the bad guys. Very fitting.
