The chassis is rather Spanish.
Beulas body? http://www.arca-bus.org/material_pre_7.htm (first on the right). The most characteristic are side windows, I've seen such only in Beulases (but of course I don't know all Spanish buses), though there are some differences, general shape is similar.
Btw. arent these taillights same like in the face lifted Fiat 125 Special (used also in Seat 1430 and PF 125p)? :D

Why not? There was a "NSU-Bus", too. The Kässbohrer Setra S 80-series had the identical backlamps like the NSU Typ 110 resp. 1200.

There are several more examples:
What's identical at these cars?

b) /vehicle_70221-Ford-Taunus-17M-P3-1961.html
c) /vehicle_76750-Mercedes-Benz-LPS-LP63.html

Well the first three vehicles - the hedlights, at least are similar, but are they really identical, I mean of the same type?
Now the K70 and Rolls... The headlights again?! that would be too simple, I will say the wipers. ;)

@weasel: correct, congratulations! :beer:

K 70 and Silver Shadow have also identical front lamps. O.k. ,this is a lame comparison, because these round lamps were used for a plenty of cars, so for Scirocco, BMW 7-series, Lada 1500 and so on...

We K 70-fans are proud, that our car lives partly again. A friend, who works in a construction-department of Volkswagen, has "smuggled" a K 70-part with its original number into that car: /vehicle_114047-Volkswagen-Golf-Plus-Typ-5M-2005.html
A screw for the safety-belt-holder. :sun:

But you must be careful with your knowledge about such things. I know a quite cute girl, which was invited by an admirer to take a ride in his brand new Porsche 911 Cabrio (it happend in the 80ies). She shouted "Ah, it has the same hazard-knob like my mother's VW 1302!"
The ride ended after a few meters and the guy never came back. :D

The chance to see one in the streets? Though that the Rolls is maybe more common :D

@antp: surely, a Rolls is much more common. Compared with a K 70 a Silver Shadow is a real mass-production-all-day-car. We K 70-freaks know us each other, worldwide. The Rolls-owners surely not.

P.S. There are more split-screen-Beetles exististing than K 70 and chrome-bumper-Golf I together.

Like a scene from the spy/action movie. :D

:D I remember, though without details that in USA or Germany one guy really demanded a compensation from a big automotive producer (Daimler-Chrysler probably), when he has explored that his brand new luxury and expensive car has some parts identical with a smaller/cheaper model, produced under different make by the same concern.

This was surely in the U.S. In Germany is also existing a huge amount of idiots, but to go to the court with this stupid ideas, is normally not possible over here. You can try it, but it won't be successful.

What shall a Porsche 924-driver say? Dismantle an early 924 into pieces, and you will be surprised, how many other cars are stuck into it.

About the globalization: in the motorvehicle-industry you always had the globalization in all times, even in the very earliest years. If you are busy with the history of any producer or manufacturer, you will see it.

That's true, but not in such scale and also not in such 'international' way.
