agree on Trans am disagree on 1979, it should have the licence plate on the bumper can't find any Trans am with the bird on the spoiler, might be a regular Firebird with an added decal still can't be a 1979 by licence plate location found a 1976 Esprit that could possibly match our friend here but i'm not sure if it was the only year to have the bird on the spoiler ( all that old car brochures has it some stupid postcards... ) -- Last edit: 2019-06-03 15:10:01 |

It's my car. It is a 1978 Formula 400 4spd, one of 817 produced. In the movie it had a TA front clip, it's currently built into a Fire Am with a 461ci motor and a five speed trans. It has been to the Trans Am Nationals a few times and can be found if you Google VSE Fire Am or Pontiac Fire Am |
