GGP London County Council, July to November 1940. The choice is therefore between a PIII and a Wraith (not Silver, nor even silver plated). The 1940 date suggests a long gestation period at the coachbuilder, possibly due to wartime conditions. |

There were in fact two Wraiths used in this film, or differing body styles. WEC65 (a Thrupp & Maberly Limousine) for scenes filmed in the UK, and WRB21 (an H.J. Mulliner Sedanca de Ville) in the studios in California. WEC65 is in the main picture at the top and the second and fourth still in the photoset in the comments. WRB21 is in the first, third and fifth still. |
