Yes but is't a Turbo? Looks like Turbo-wheels and there is a badge on the grill even though it supposed to be in the right lower corner...

No this is a 240 Turbo Estate. The black paint around the side windows and the alloys would indicate a Turbo version, (although I never saw a Volvo Turbo Estate in Europe, but they did sell them in the States).

The quad headlights would indicate 1981-1985.

From 81 onwards when the Turbo's arrived, the designation changed from 242/4/5 and 262/4/5 into just plain 240 and 260...

I won't dispute that the car is a Model 245 (=5 doors), but for this particular year/model, the badge on the bootlid would have said "240 Turbo"...

After a bit of digging it seems the designation 240 and 242/244/245 seems to used at 'random' through the years by people and specialists, because it's easier to distinguish the exact body type immediately. Also Volvo uses these designations as the official model codes, however, the badge on the boot was changed to just "240" (and "260" for the 6 cyl models) for all model types in 1983. So it's up to the moderators to decide as how to classify the cars...

Are you sure the car in picture is a 245? The all chrome front grille would suggest a 265. The Turbo can be distinguished by the completely blacked out windscreen surronds, bumpers, door handles, etc. The Turbo Estate was only availabe as per 1984.
