Converted to run on propane (pressurized fuel tank with domed ends). 1937 has bars on the hood side covering the louvers and a smaller nameplate than 1938. The headlight mounting with this type of fender, with brackets off the frame below coming up through holes in the fenders was used on all heavy GMCs from 1936 through 1945.
