It is a Picco Max 4, produced in Brandis.
The company started as 'Bibra-Werkstätten Brandis', dispossessed by the state and named 'Brandiser Maschinen-und Apparatebau KG' in 1957, under control by the 'VEB Roburwerke Zittau' from 1961, renamed to 'VEB Fahrzeug und Ausrüstungsbau Brandis' in 1972, and finally becoming Werk 5 (works no. 5) of the 'VEB Roburwerke Zittau' in 1981.

So far there is only little information to be found. I am not even sure if it should be written 'Picco Max', 'Picco-Max', or 'PiccoMax'. As a brand name I would suggest to use 'Brandis'.

Hopefully more information will turn up in the future, as it seems the Picco dumpers (there were also smaller three-wheeled dumpers) were in widespread use in the GDR.
