This one has me beat. Clearly a Jim Clark Lotus, but I can't recall ever seeing that set up of exhaust, wheels, roll bar and number!!! |

Richard says it's Clark's 1965 F2 car which he won both the UK and French championships that year. Which should mean it's a Lotus 35 Cosworth SCA which did have an unusual spaghetti exhaust. Haven't found a 35 picture to match this #6/yellow wheels; 35 was offered in F2, F3 and FB specs. |

Personally I think it's a lash up. I can find no reference to a Jim Clark car with this set up and number. |

Maybe. But this sequence is almost certainly the Lotus factory museum/collection wheeled out into the sunshine, so it has some pedigree somehow as a Clark car. |

"Colin Chapman sub-contracted the running of his F2 team to Ron Harris, the two wheels of the car alongside Clark’s Lotus 35 in the opening photo are those of his teammate Brian Hart- Brians 35 is BRM P80 powered and is shown above. The story of BRM’s 4 cylinder P80 F2 engine is one for another time but its vital statistics are an all aluminium, DOHC, 2 valve, Lucas injected 998cc (71.88X61.6mm bore/stroke) dry sumped motor giving circa 125 bhp @ 9750 rpm." |
