n9yle ◊ 2006-08-12 08:19	thats an RS in the grill.. Rally Sport. hide-away headlamps are the give away on that one. if it were an SS/RS... with the Super Sport & Rally Sport options it would still have the RS in the grill as that option took precident over an SS.

It's the opposite, the RS/SS had a SS badge in it's grille. The standard Camaro had a Chevy emblem, The "RS" had "RS" badge if not equipped with the "SS" or "Z/28" packages and the "SS" always had "SS" badges with or without the RS trim and grille and the Z/28 always had a Z/28 badge with or with the "RS" package). This one does have the pace car paint stripes too (the lettering on the sides were stickers that came with the car but the owner had the choice to put them on or leave them off).
