1956 Plymouth. It looks quite basic, so I'd go for a [P28/29-1] Plaza. |

What's that strange code Is it to mean that it could be 28 or 29? Other Plymouth had a simple P-xx code |

I think DynaMike is indicating its one or the other, 28/29, it should probably be listed as a 28, and show the possibility of it being a 29 in the comments section below the pic as he has done above. comments? -- Last edit: 2007-08-12 19:55:19 |

Well, I just wrote what I found in my info... 1954: [P25-x], 1955: [P26-x] for the L6 and [P27-x] for the V8, 1956: [P28/29-x] for the L6 or V8... So depending on the engine it will be [P28-1] or [P29-1]. Maybe it is possible to distinguish them by the sound? Or we could just assume it will be a L6, because it's a taxi. |

I think it is better to only mention one of the two codes then. Note that some cars have a "-" in their code (Plymouth, Chrysler, DeSoto, for what I remember) We could change that if it is really important, but if not it is better to keep current naming style |
