Weasel1984 ◊ 2013-06-09 14:39	The "information series" or Honkers was made in 1988, but acc. to the interesting book of S. Drążkiewicz, this cars had to went to the MO. In this situation the serial production had to be started a bit later (closer to the 1989). And now there are two theories. Drążkiewicz claims, that pre-serial cars (from 1988) were called "Tarpan Honker 4011" and serial ones (ca 1989+) "Tarpan Honker 4WD", but this website says that military version was "Tarpan 4011" (later 4012 etc.) and civilian one "Tarpan Honker 4WD"... Let's leave it as "Honker" and call it "Honker 4WD" [4011] - according to the paper source (like for now). Especially, that military ones also had the 4WD badge. -- Last edit: 2013-06-09 14:54:55
