Something like A657 Jxx = 83-84. Tried a few combos but nothing surfaced. Looks like S trim, unusual grille - maybe from Mk2?? |

A Mk3 "S" would not have stripes on the swage line? I can't see the headrests clearly, but the stripes to me suggest 2.8i. |

Agree with "S" version. Seems to have Recaro seats with "fishnet" headrests. The side stripes might be aftermarket, same goes with the grille, Mk2 one looked different. Also front bumper painted in body colour, both, "S" and "2.8 injection" versions had original black bumpers. |

And yet no visible "S" decals, which should be evident on at least the front wing from this angle? I suppose at this age it could have been messed with quite a bit over time. |

Looking again - I'm switching my vote - I think it has "injection" script within the side stripes on front wing - there's a slightly thicker portion in the right place. |

Really hard to tell, the stripes could be "injection" ones, but both mirrors, which look like original Ford ones are black, "injection" ones should be body coloured. The bit of the visible front wheel also seems too narrow for a 7x13 wheel. But who knows? Tried to find web pics, but sadly wasn't successful. |
