No side trim or sign of any holes/clips, so I'd guess a 1961 Sprite Mk2. I also think this blue was an AH colour, not MG but not a confirmed fact. |

Your guess is wrong. The reason for the missing holes and trims is simple: filler. The red an beige stuff. The car is a hardcore Presto-bomber. |

Can contribute an anecdote: have been selling a model of MG Midget that color, and received neutral feedback. the byuer complaining: 'Well, the color is wrong for a MG' He further said it should be white instead like this: /vehicle_1161138-MG-Midget-1961.html -- Last edit: 2018-10-14 23:12:26 |

A correct reaction, when you note Link to "www.bauhaus.info" on or in a car. The chance, that's a wreck, is close to 100% |

An item, sold by me on eBay, made the buyer hysterical, because it was blue and not white: it was a Mitropa coffee cup from 1934. I got 73€ for it Later I asked my mother, who bought it on a flea market years ago, about the price. 3 D-Mark (1,50€) she said. -- Last edit: 2018-10-14 23:29:42 |

Intriguing. Can't think who made a pale blue Midget unless it was Spot-On. Or a different scale from 1:43?? Have entered it as a Sprite as no reason to assume it's a Midget, although ingo's comments accepted about semi-restored condition. |

The solution: the model was a pale blue MG B from Ixo or derivative Link to "www.anibis.ch" |
