2003. For inexplicable reasons, the 'Explorer' side badging was removed that year, only for it to come back the next. |

Ford heard that T-Rex could read the word Explorer it was later found that it touches only the 1st gen ones (Navajo buyers did had a warning letter concerning T-Rex with bad sight .. )  |
