I have to disagree again. An early Consul should have looked something like this https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Ford_Consul_204E_1956_side.jpg . The side strip that bends upwards together with small rear lights with a vertical chrome strip beneath them, argues this is rather an early Zephyr. That is 1956-58.
