They were called 'Canopy Pick Ups' back in the day. Very popular in 50s and 60s on Bedford CA and Commer PB , they had a bench seat under canopy so you could carry five people and their gear . Juliet Bravo was set in around the Burnley (where I'm from), Pendle and Rossendale areas of East Lancashire, and as dsl as correctly pointed out, it is a (Burnley) Council works van. |
