Yes, 1955. The 1956 was very similar from this angle, but the upper spear got thicker from the door onwards to the back (to meet the tailfins). |

Sure you're right folks. I don't know where my mind was when I wrote 1953. If Yvon is right about the wheelcovers (hard to say but they do seem to have be some red in the center and thre wasn't in 55) let's say 56. The upper stainless on the spear was thicker in 56 but, in my book, only on the Fireflite Sportsman and convertible. Su this one should be a 1956 Firedome. |
