The sides, ends and rear doors were panelled externally with aluminium and lined with hardboard. Four aerial insulator blocks were fitted in the steel roof.Temperature insulating material was packed between inner linings and outer panelling. Sliding windows were fitted in the sides and louvered ventilation panels at the front and rear.
