Yes the Greek taxicab seen with Peter Ustinov is a Chevrolet four door sedan from 1948 ,with the vertical centre molding in the radiator grille .It could be either a Stylemaster FJ or a Fleetmaster FK , but this is difficult to sort out with this picture .Fleetmasters were a bit more luxurious but Stylemasters could also be finished in two tone combinations.The car has typical white plastic wheel rims a popular add-on accessory of the period to imitate white sidewall tires. The left front wing seems badly rotten. |
