The style of the rear bumper seems to be of a 1968+ model. |

You´re right, I got carried away by the colour. It doesn´t even have the high positioned turn indicators. |

It's not a Pick-up, it's a Doppelkabine ("DoKa"). Two different types with different chassis- and spare-part-numbers. |

What name was used in Israel?? |

Usual VW problem, with all their vehicles without names... Same problem occured for /vehicle.php?id=144070 I guess we'll have to call them "Doppelkabine" else they will stay in "unknown" list. |

As I know VW hasn't created special export-names for Israel. VW Germany hasn't even printed sales brochures or instruction manuals in Hebro. This was made by the importer. I'm sorry, but my K 70-collection-fanatism comes out now: I WANT TO HAVE THE K 70-MANUAL IN HEBRO! A few were made by the importer. We have a Jewish club-member in Berlin, who owns one - but this %;'&*!§-guy will not give it to me! |

I remember one in the occupied territories with Israeli plate in the late 80s. A Palestinian young man was its owner. It was a '73+ for the quad round headlights and was in an odd pale grey (not metallic). Maybe resprayed. |

I think this VW colour is later: 1972 for me. |

1972 would be correct, the only year with the old front end with fender flares at the front wheels. |
