The fenders of the 42 model are quite blocky, and the lower side of the body is straight. Here the fenders are quite round and the lower side bends up near the front wheels, like on the 1939-1941 models. The push button instead of a door handle indicates the 1941 version. |

The 1942 Lincolns had different, boxed fenders .1941 and 1940 versions had round fender lines and this is indeed a 1941 Lincoln Continental Convertible Cabriolet model 65 with the push buttons ( 1940 Continentals had door handles).Normally it should have standing lights on top of the front fenders barely visible here.Those were absent on the 1940 cars. |
