Why? The shape of a roof or a back window is enough for a real freak.

If you want, join me to become a real freak. Perfect for lessons and exercises are

:hello:
Is there anyone of the IMCDb-gentlemen thinking about to join
https://www.beaulieu.co.uk/events/international-autojumble/
in two weeks?

If yes, an IMCDb user meeting would be a nice idea :)
I'm planning to go there, if everything goes well, as 2 1/2 years ago, again with my K 70.
For health reasons (feet problems) I'm thinking about stop overs.

I shall perhaps be in Gloucestershire during the following week. I dare not visit Beaulieu since I would be too likely to buy something silly, like a Lea Francis Fourteen or a Dayton Albatross.

Sorry, but I should be on my favourite Scottish islands (Orkney) for a couple of weeks at that point.

One look inside my garage would answer your question.

If you can still keep your stuff inside, it's not a problem. Yet.

And if that problem will coming up,there's a clever solution:
Buy annother garage.

@johnfromstaffs, @dsl: the UK has to bear me again :D From next Friday we (with wife and doggie) we will stay for a week in Devon. For Saturday and Sunday I plan to visit Beaulieu.
P.S. We want to take the Vetra. It has a trailer coupling

I’m off out for a beer this pm.
Arriva 825 bus into town, free on my wrinklies’ bus pass, and a couple of pints of Everard’s Tiger bitter. The pub belongs to the Titanic Brewery, but their beers are a bit hoppy for me so the Tiger will be in my tank tonight!

About my recent beer I've remorse [:shy]
Normally I boycott East German stuff, but recently I've catched a very special offer (7,20 € for a box Hasseröder 20x 0,5 litre, normal price 14,99 €).
Well, "Grub first, than ethics", as an East German has said a long time ago.

Are you serious? I would have expected something else from you than Hasseröder... And nearly every great brewery in East Germany belongs to a great West company.

Well, it was cheap and I am poor :p
Otherwise it doesn't matter, what German mainstream beer you drink - it's all from just a few large international companies. I've seen that very clearly at my Dortmund-times. It's all the same stuff, but in different bottles.

btw.: also foreign brands as Foster's (AUS), Efes (TR) and so came from these large breweries. You really have to look, which beer comes from the origin country. The Czech Budweiser and Pilsner for example, as it seems also the Spanish San Miguel and the Danish Carlsberg.

There was no reason for that thought. As usual on these events the offered cars were grotesquely overpriced. A Nissan Bluebird for 4750£ or a Bentley Turbo for 18.500£ - with LPG-conversion...

When you meet a bloke, who tells you "I've bought a classic car in Beaulieu (or on the Techno Classica or on the Rétromobile)", you immediately know: "Hey, an idiot".

Had the postcard been of one of the smaller towns it might have been photographed last week. I have to say that my favourite Cotswold settlement has to be Filkins and Broughton Poggs.
