I checked the footage because I thought that might be an Oxford South Midland Leyland Leopard/Duple behind. It's not, it's a 1983 London Country TD class Leyland Tiger with Duple body in Green Line livery, and the location is Gatwick Airport. In the footage (and one of the other screencaps shown here) it's much better seen than this. .....actually it's better than that, because the same coach reappears in a sequence later in the story using the same Aston Martin. It's a bit obvious, mind you, that the two sequences were filmed together, and in all probability the second one was filmed first. ......also.......this second sequence features an AEC Reliance, a Plaxton bodied example. This one's interesting, it's a 1980 example also running for London Country's Green Line Operation. It was originally painted with a gold band to mark 50 years of Green Line operation, but when London Coutry started a joint service with Southdown to Gatwick Airport, the gold banded coaches were rebranded for the 777 Flightlink route. -- Last edit: 2018-05-23 23:19:35 |
