I've noticed lately that many period pieces that are set in the early-2000s tend to have little or no regard for period-correct vehicles, often blatantly showing new cars in scenes, like here I guess they figure that late-00s/2010s vehicles look similar enough to mid-90s/early-00s vehicles, and that untrained eyes will not notice the difference. |

Yeah but it's still an annoyance for car nerds like us. The filmmakers easily could have found stock footage from the early 2000s if they cared about authenticity. |
