More visible is the waist line in chrome, which goes all the way to the rear lights. That too was introduced in October 1953 (as of MY 1954) and replaced a shorter strip that covered half the distance of the front wing. Overriders was also introduced on the MY 1954 together with a flat middle section of the front bumper. Please add "Carbodies of Coventry" as Ford UK didn't have space to do the Convertibles. -- Last edit: 2018-04-29 19:05:36
