The car is driven by "Joan Wilders (Kathleen Turner) sister. She is kidnapped by a kid who knocks the sister out with bolas and drives of with the woman in the car. |

The car is a replica Cobra, not an original. |

Could be a '70s end Cobra replica(called 429)done by Red Stallion(5 or 5.7 V-8 Ford-powered)or a'70-'80s Arntz Replica Cobra(Chevy'Vette V-8-powered)made in USA;or even(because was built in South-America)a1981-1987Brazilian-made Glaspac Shelby Cobra Replica(Ford-BR Galaxie/LTD/Landau-V8-powered),all three in GFRP body That's a Glaspac tech file page,by a 1982 Italian-printed world cars annual: http://www.forum-macchine.it/attachment:php?attachmentid=18734 |

I don't care if it is a replica, this car is awesome and I want one. |

I look after these informations because I guessed the car shown was too perfect. I found that most of Glaspac cars had the gas filler on the right rear fender. But I also found the photos on the http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Downs/5756/g.html showing Brazilian register plates. The car is virtually equal, from shocks to badge and gas filler to the Colombian car. |
