Umm. Renault acquired a major interest in AMC in 1979. This is just a Rambler Classic |

I went for a walk today and saw a mint Rambler Ambassador Wagon, not sure the year. It looked real nice. |

1966, not 1964. Changing. |

looks like it was somehow associated to Renault in foreign markets, i was just pointing out the fact that it looks like a prediction of what will come in the future for the brand and its parent company -- Last edit: 2017-10-16 14:44:54 |

Long before that, pretty much all the Renault dealers in the States I knew of were in with a(Rambler)AMC/Jeep dealer? (AMC/Jeep/Renault) Though I did know of one back in the '70s that was a Buick-AMC/Jeep/Renault-Volkswagen dealer??? (Should've seen that lot!!!) And another one that well into the 1980's----and in a large city!!----(Dallas,Tx) that was a Pontiac-AMC/Jeep/Renault dealer? -- Last edit: 2018-01-18 23:34:25 |

I don't see in reference to French assembled in Wikipedia, but mentioned that it was assembled in Belgium https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rambler_Classic#Europe |
