not the DAF version..look closely at the pic..this is the 2nd incarnation of the Leyland Sherpa vehicle...original production run had silver grille with LEYLAND badge..2nd incarnation had matt black grille with SHERPA badge..3rd incarnation had matt black grille with SHERPA badge and small square Austin morris logo badge below....4th incarnation had matt black grille with SHERPA badge and small square British Leyland logo badge below...since then its gone under further incarnations as Leyland Daf..freight rover..and LDV..all with variations in the grille layout. so the one in the pic is the Leyland Sherpa 2nd incarnation..the oblong badge below the bonnet lip will read SHERPA. |
