In the film they say the battery is flat. Having an auxiliary crank handle is not so unusual. My 1969 Land-Rover still has it -- even though Arnold Schwarzenegger in his best years wouldn't be able to crank it -- and the Citroën 2CV had it until the very end in 1990! |
