Yes, the car is the old Dick Morgensen special that was built by Morgensen and Boyd Hough, in Phonix Arizona. The car was later sold to Eric Hauser and driven by Hauser and Max Balchowsky. It was known under many names. The most famous was Old Yeller. Max never had title to the car but did own the Jaguar transmission and Buick motor. Old Yeller was driven in the movie 'The Road Racers' by it's owner Eric Hauser.
